![]() Just had to vent a bit after finding that official definition and knowing that Analogue is shipping all their Analogue Pocket systems via FedEx starting today. I wonder if FedEx is going to be hurting a bit after this holiday season as it seemed like a lot of retailers put their eggs in FedEx's basket this year compared to the past, and they dropped it compared to everyone else. On the extremely rare occasion a package goes missing, but I've never had two packages in limbo at the same time even factoring in the holiday craziness.Įvery other shipping company has been more or less reliable this holiday season except FedEx and when I decided to look more in to it, I see that meaningless status definition and find it pretty annoying that is how they define it. Usually if there's a shipping problem, it's maybe delayed by a day. I also cannot recall ever having such problems from a shipping company other than Amazon Logistics and even those don't happen anymore as their problems likely stemmed from when they were still ramping up their courier service. I can't tell what's worse, one that it somehow getting updated being only "In Transit" or the one that went dark suddenly. So from 8th through today, I've had multiple updates a day of it being "In Transit". Again for those who don't know the geography, Sacramento is a two hour drive away. FedEx delivers Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. You might have your package delivered as late as 9:00 PM or after, but you can generally expect that no packages will arrive past 10:00 PM. ![]() ![]() From the 7th to the 11th it was stuck "In Transit" with up to two updates a day with that status but then after the 11th, it went silent.Ģ) The second package was shipped out of Kentucky on Nov 29th and was making regular progress until it hit Sacramento on the 7th, which the last notable update was it departed from there. FedEx drivers have been known to deliver packages into the night to keep deliveries on schedule during the holidays. It arrived there on the 6th, and then quicklly Departed about an hour later. Nope, for some reason they routed it to Tracy which is a 45 min drive East, so totally out of the way. One would think it would arrive the next day since it was shipped local. It's a 35 min drive heading south on the freeway. For those not familiar with the geography, it's not very far. Even worse is FedEx customer service has no idea where a package is either when it is in transit since all they know is what the tracking info tells them which seems pretty useless since anyone can tell that from looking at their own tracking number.ġ) The first package was sent on Dec.
